On a recent visit to Derbyshire Archives I came across some parish magazines for Whittington. This recipe for Eve’s Pudding was from 1863.

There was also a short history of Whittington, I particularly like the last entry, the baptism of Thomas Aston Bulkeley. It would appear that he had quite elderly godparents!
