This article in the Derbyshire Courier 30th August 1910 was written about David Maddison of Prospect Road Old Whittington, known locally as the ‘Barm’ man.
David was born in Lincolnshire and his occupation on the 1911 census was given as Yeast and Tea dealer.
David died 10th May 1916.
