Good news, I have heard from the Council and they are going to arrange to clean the memorial (as much as can be done) and do some general maintenance. The trees overhanging the Memorial are not council trees but belong to Sheepbridge Business Centre. I have contacted them and they are happy to cut back some of the overhanging branches etc. Hopefully all this will be done in good time for 11th November. I will keep you posted.
